How to update PC-BSD from 9.0 to 9.1-RC2 or newer release candidate

Sometimes you just can't wait to run the latest release candidate of PC-BSD.

If you wish to update from 9.0 to version 9.1-RC2 you may do so by editing the /usr/local/share/pcbsd/pc-updatemanager/conf/sysupdate.conf file and changing the PATCHSET: variable to pcbsdtest.

I already noticed on an other machine that the 9.1-RC2 fixed a several things for me.

Of course, use at your own risk.

You might want to consider setting the PATCHSET: variable back to pcbsd when the actual release is there.
