USB powered Coca-Cola engine

While surfing the net for 5v fans for a project I'm working on... I stumbled upon this movie...

Nice, an engine made out of a coca cola can and parts of a real engine ;-)

Cool down your Macbook Pro temperature

People who work with a laptop on their lap can understand that its quite nice to have a low temperature on your legs.

Well. A solution I found today by Lobotomo Software at www.lobotomo.com. Good job on that!

The application called FanControl installs a control panel plugin where you can change the values of the cooling system.

Result that your fans go faster on a lower temperature as desired and you can keep using your Mac without any problems caused by the heat.

Personally I like this application more than SMCfancontrol cause it automatically raises the speed. Still SMCfancontrol is still a nice application and might also be useful for you. Just keep in mind that you do not use them at the same time ;)
