The most downloads I had so far were games but they are mostly quite fun to play, plus the applications that were on the list were really useful. Not like a lot of websites that have links to free applications but 90% is not useful.

We all know the Unibody of Apple was in the promotion of the new Macbook Pro computers.

What I like about this new way of showing things is that they show the factory where the iPhones get produced.
I must say that the people who do this job earn some credit too for their work. Showing their work gives away some credit in my point of view.

Over all I find it a great piece of gadget to get soon to work with and review. Now only I need to figure out a way to get one soon

I noticed that the charger was getting really hot while in use but as other products that turn quite hot I didn't paid attention to it.

Well, I can recommend to NOT charge your iPhone with this new charger at night. Glad we have 10A fuses in our house for the sleeping room so that the fuse switched off quite fast, not to imagine what could happen if it would remain on.

This morning I thought to call T-Mobile and tell the story to get a new charger and a new charger/sync cable since both are burned.
In my opinion this could be handled quite fast, same like Apple did before with repairs, they ship me a new one. If the broken one seems not to be broken or is broken as result of my own stupidity they charge me the new one and ship me my old product back.
Too bad you have to wait 4 weeks for T-mobile's repairing process to return you a new charger. So I think I'll just buy a new charger and cable in the local store so I can use my iPhone normally without having to worry about the battery.

Now this charger is really fried so I don't think they would even try to put it into a power socket (at least, I wouldn't).
The sync cable seems to be repairable but I don't trust products that are burned. We'll see what the'll make of that.

Bad service of T-mobile for a 1 month old charger to not directly replace it but let someone wait 4 weeks.

Situations like this really makes me think of jailbrake my iPhone and go to an other provider. I think as a provider you should do better if someone is a client for over 10 years already and even has multiple accounts.
Seems like that doesn't matter at all... Your just a number...

[14-08-2010, UPDATE: Got a new adapter]

After I shipped out it took some days, which is normal. Suddenly Solid Vision called me to ask my IMEI number of my phone, they couldn't find the warranty information without it since I have multiple iPhones registered on my name. Not even a half week later they shipped me a fresh and new adapter. Nice work guys!

Its actually quite simple to work with, we already know how to move the icons between pages. To create a folder you just have to drag your icon upon another icon and it will automatically create a folder with the nearest matching category name of the application.

Lets say you move two game icons upon each other the name of the folder would be Games.

Now another nice feature is the notification system.
When a application has a notification pending you will see a attention sign on the folder icon. When you tap the folder you will see the opened folder with the application (or multiple applications) having a notification.

In the following image you see how a notification looks:

In this image I tapped on the folder so I can see which application has a notification. The AppStore in my case.

After I opened the AppStore and gave the command to upgrade the applications you will be returned to the springboard.
You can see the updating progress on the folder and if you tap it you can see it of the application.

As you can see, it is quite simple to work with.

As soon as the new iPhone OS 4 will be released I hope you will enjoy this feature too.

When you press the Home button twice it popups at the bottom of your screen and you can scroll between the running applications and switch to it by tapping on it.

In case you want to close an application, simply hold your finger on the icon until you see the 'remove' button, then tap the remove button and the application will be stopped.

One thing I would like to see in this tiny popup is the ability to close multiple applications in a row. Maybe not at the same time but at least it would be nice to not have to hold your finger on the icon over and over.
My idea would be adding a circle with a plus sign in it just as you have on the Dashboard on Mac OS X and when you tap that, it holds the closing feature to be able to close multiple programs a bit faster.

Update
Apple changed the way how you close the applications, instead of being able to close one application at the time the close feature remains open with multiple close icons until you press the home button.

Tho I found a minor bug that is going to be fixed soon. When you move away all icons from a springboard folder it remains empty on the springboard.
The solution for now is simply open the folder, remove its name and click back to the springboard, then it should disappear.

Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Turn of your iPhone by holding the power button
Wait for your iPhone to completely shutdown
Hold POWER and HOME for 10 seconds
Release POWER but keep holding HOME
iTunes should now detect your iPhone in DFU mode

Note, in case you do a redsn0w jailbreak, you might need to disconnect press power and reconnect the iPhone to make it work (do this quickly).

In the following post and movie you can read and see how people use a sausage instead of their fingers, cause they use gloves the touch screen doesn't work... This solves that problem... But on the other hand it raises another problem, we have to kill animals to make sausages to use as a stylus for an iPhone gadget? How sick is that...

So far I feel like TomTom works more easy for me than Navigon. This is my opinion of course...

If you are planning to buy Navigation on your iPhone, simply browse though the images and see if the interface matches what you would like to have. And google some about the software information, it really helps with making a choice!

Paramour is a social network app that I found but accident but that I really like now.
Its quite easy to meet people you want. This can be for chatting but of course also for making new friends, browsing profiles or even start dating. That is all up to you.

Some current features of the program are:
- Profiles on distance, nice is that you can never exact locate where someone is. (privacy)
- Naughty or Nice classification to fiend people with the same idea of seeking people
- Easy send messages with an optional photo attachment.
- Manage favorite people (slide left to show the delete button )
- Chat public, see it like Twitter but only for Paramour users

I spoke with the developer of the application Steve Jarman he is planning some new features in the new version of the application:

- Higher image quality
- Zooming
- Panning
- Blocking profiles

For now those are the adjustments for the app in the next release.

I requested a feature to view your own send messages, but that might come in future versions.

So far, this program is really easy to work with, no difficult buttons or settings that you need to know before you can do your thing with it
