iPhone OS 4 multitasking great, but closing needs some work.

The multitasking system of the new iPhone OS 4 works quite well.

photo1 iPhone OS 4 multitasking great, but closing needs some work.

When you press the Home button twice it popups at the bottom of your screen and you can scroll between the running applications and switch to it by tapping on it.

In case you want to close an application, simply hold your finger on the icon until you see the 'remove' button, then tap the remove button and the application will be stopped.

One thing I would like to see in this tiny popup is the ability to close multiple applications in a row. Maybe not at the same time but at least it would be nice to not have to hold your finger on the icon over and over.
My idea would be adding a circle with a plus sign in it just as you have on the Dashboard on Mac OS X and when you tap that, it holds the closing feature to be able to close multiple programs a bit faster.

Here some images I made with Photoshop to just show how it could look.

Update
Apple changed the way how you close the applications, instead of being able to close one application at the time the close feature remains open with multiple close icons until you press the home button.

How to restore your iPhone when its bricked with DFU mode

Here are some simple steps I use to restore friends their iPhones.

Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Turn of your iPhone by holding the power button
Wait for your iPhone to completely shutdown
Hold POWER and HOME for 10 seconds
Release POWER but keep holding HOME
iTunes should now detect your iPhone in DFU mode

Note, in case you do a redsn0w jailbreak, you might need to disconnect press power and reconnect the iPhone to make it work (do this quickly).

TomTom west europe… So far, I like it more than Navigon…

I don't know what it is, the software? The looks? The easy working with it?

So far I feel like TomTom works more easy for me than Navigon. This is my opinion of course...

If you are planning to buy Navigation on your iPhone, simply browse though the images and see if the interface matches what you would like to have. And google some about the software information, it really helps with making a choice! :-)

Got my new iPhone 3Gs 32GB today, hurray!

After a week waiting its finally there. My new iPhone 3Gs :)

So far, I really like the speed of the phone, it works really fast. And the greatest thing of all, it was restored with the same settings in not even 5 minutes and then 2 minutes to sync my applications.

Up and running again with MobileMe and all my mail and application settings. Good job Apple!

*edit*:
I have tested the new camera, really nice to have a video feature now, the resolution is nice and the result is not blurry like most camera's. I'll see if I can post some examples :)
